Degree Description
The Master of Business Administration degree program is a 42 semester credit hour graduate program designed to enhance the professional skills of business managers and executives. Designed to develop the individual's ability to comprehend internal and external social, legal, political, and economic forces as they affect the decision-making process within the organization, the program has been structured to serve both holders of baccalaureate degrees in business administration as well as other disciplines. Tailored for persons functioning at the upper-mid management and top management positions, the curriculum emphasizes strategic management concepts and principles, makes greater use of research findings, and uses complex computer skills. Complex computer simulations put the student in real life business situations enhancing experience and decision-making skills. The MBA core takes approximately 22 months to complete.
